MITT 2023 EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS

This year’s MITT International Travel and Hospitality Show proved hugely successful with 768 exhibitors, 14,830 visitors, and 57 Russian regions represented

The number of visitors to MITT 2023 exceeded last year's figure by over 60%.

In its 29th year MITT International Travel and Hospitality show lived up to its reputation as the biggest event in the travel and tourism calendar, with 768 exhibitors and 14,830 visitors attending the shown in Moscow on March 16-18, 2023.

This year 57 Russian regions and 20 countries were represented at MITT. Foreign exhibitors came from Iran, Indonesia, Thailand, Uganda, Algeria, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lanka, and many other popular tourist destinations. Firms and organizations taking part included foreign and domestic transport operators, tour operators, national tourist offices, travel agencies, hotels, hotel chains, as well as MICE agencies, online search and booking systems, and others.

As usual, MITT was the perfect opportunity for people in the tourism and hospitality industry to meet and discuss trends, find new partners and share predictions. A fascinating exhibition and series of events in the Business Program were of interest to both specialists and general visitors.

Key topics at sessions and conferences included ways of addressing current turbulence, new opportunities for international cooperation, developing the tourism potential of Russian regions, the current situation in the hospitality industry and ways forward for the industry. A total of 17 business events were held with 170 speakers taking part.

Awards were presented to exceptional participants and partners of MITT 2023 at a ceremony on March 18. Those acknowledged for their special part in preparing and holding this year’s show were as follows:
